Daan Colussi is fascinated by what the city does not consciously show, but does make temporarily visible. As a designer and visual artist, he archives the small details in the streetscape that usually go unnoticed or threaten to disappear. Through photography and risograph illustration, he explores the tension between the everyday and the made enviroment.

Moments from across the street
Sometimes I wander around town and take pictures of sober, functional buildings, graffiti tags, fluorescent lighting, among other things. The illustrations are made by redrawing the photographs, translating my impressions into ink on paper.

In 2015 Kanye anounced his run for the US presidency. When for a design acadmy project we were assigned to make a big kite, ye seemed like a natural choice. The kite became a visual commentary on the illusion of grateness, as kanye frequently compared himself to god.
